Digital X-Rays
We use X-rays every single day in our practice, which is why we have gone fully digital. Compared to traditional film, digital X-rays are better in every way you can imagine: the images are clearer, they take just seconds to develop, and they expose our patients (and our team!) to 90% LESS radiation. We can easily store these images as well and reference them to see long-term trends in someone’s oral health.
Intraoral Camera
Rather than just shining a bright light into your mouth (and eyes) to examine your teeth and gums, we can take close-up, high-definition images of them using our intraoral camera. These images can then be displayed on a nearby monitor, helping us see much more of the oral cavity compared to a regular visual exam. Plus, Dr. Albert can go over these images with you so you can gain a deeper understanding of your oral health.
